Executive Aircraft Maintenance Expands with New Ownership in 2017.

Executive Aircraft Maintenance, located in Scottsdale, Arizona is now under new ownership. RCA Avionics LLC purchased Executive Aircraft Maintenance’s hangar operations from Copperstate Turbine Engine Company (CTEC) on October 28th, 2016. The deal included the Executive Aircraft name and both the Maintenance and Avionics operations. The new company is RCA Avionics LLC dba Executive Aircraft Maintenance. The sale will allow both EAM and CTEC to focus more heavily on their individual core competencies and address their customer’s needs.

The acquisition will improve EAM’s ability to service existing customers as well as open up doors for greater capabilities to manage the maintenance and avionics needs on a variety of new airframes. EAM is a Class III FAA part 145 repair station.

“This transition will be seamless for our existing customers. Our contact numbers, locations, and website will all remain the same,” said Bill Forbes, VP of Operations at EAM. “We now have the ability to focus 100% of our resources on avionics and maintenance needs of our customers. It’s an exciting time for EAM and all of our loyal customers.”

EAM will maintain the same list of services and products as they are currently providing and will partner with new organizations in 2017 that will allow them to offer new products installations, maintenance capabilities, and more.

EAM’s current maintenance capabilities include King Air, Twin Commander, Citation inspections and line maintenance, extensive sheet metal repairs/modifications, Raisbeck modification, and Blackhawk modifications. Their current Avionics capabilities include innovative ADSB installations from all the major avionics manufactures on aircraft up to midsize jets, Internet and Wi-Fi installations, full cockpit retrofits with G1000/G5000, Collins Pro-Line Fusion, G500/600 /GTN 750 as well as autopilots and general avionics troubleshooting and repair.

Jeff Coffman, founder of Coffman Companies, Inc., a Phoenix based Part 91 Management and Sales firm, will be the President/CEO of the new EAM. Coffman and his team are seasoned aviation professionals with over 32 years in the industry. EAM will continue to maintain a close working relationship with CTEC in order to provide both companies customers with the customer service they have come to expect. CTEC will continue to offer their service and expertise with there Engine Shop, Machine Shop, and FBO in Glendale just as before.

“This is a great opportunity for Executive Aircraft Maintenance to reach it’s full potential as a maintenance and avionics shop”, said Jeff Coffman, “At Coffman Companies, it has never been my goal to be the biggest, but rather to be the best for my customers. I will bring the same goal to EAM as we grow the company and make our efficiencies the best in the industry.   This will allow our customers to benefit from the highest quality of maintenance and installations done right, on time and at competitive prices. ”

EAM is asking customers to give them a call if they have questions or concerns about any of the changes and assures them that new Executive Aircraft Maintenance is better than ever.
